Got in another painting session last night. Stayed up entirely too late, but I managed to totally finish Mirage Team 5’s Margot.
I definitely want to do something with the eyes. Given that the bulk of my miniatures painting has been space marines and skaven, I have pretty much zero experience with trying to paint eyes. Even when there have been human faces, I’ve usually been able to get away with throwing down a wash and just having the eyes ‘in shadow’. But not this time. Even after the wash it looked super weird and vacant. Like her eyes were clearly missing.
Of course, now she appears to have super crazy eyes. I’ll have to try and fix that later.
Seriously. I can’t remember the last time I got so much painting done. In addition to finishing my Emergency Services doctor, I managed to finish painting Duroc. And here he is:
And now my week is starting again, so I don’t expect to paint anything else for a while. I will try to complete the blog about actual gaming seasons at some point before too long, but I make no promises.
It’s been a relaxing, painting sort of day, and and a result I’ve made a bunch of progress painting Mirage Team 5’s Duroc. Here’s what I’ve accomplished so far:
So many little straps!
